2019.07.08 09:38
Dear Colleague,
On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, I would like to cordially invite you to participate in the 19th International Symposium on Silicon Chemistry (ISOS-2020) which will be jointly organized with the 10th European Silicon Days (ESD-10) in Toulouse (France) from 5th to 10th July 2020
Since the first ISOS meeting in Prague in 1965, ISOS has been held every three years in different cities on three continents. Now ISOS is undoubtedly the most important international symposium on Silicon Chemistry. ISOS-2020 will gather outstanding scientists from academia and industry to explore the frontiers of Silicon Chemistry from fundamental Science to the applied silicon chemistry. The ISOS-2020 program will consist of 8 plenary lectures (including the Kipping and the Wacker Silicone awardees’ lectures), 40 invited lectures, and four parallel sessions. The Plenary lectures will be presented by leading practitioners, including:
- Professor Don Tilley (UC Berkeley, USA)
- Professor Kim Baines (Western University, Canada)
- Professor David Scheschkewitz (University of Saarland, Germany)
- Professor Kazuyuki Kuroda (Waseda University, Japan)
- Professor Clément Sanchez (Collège de France, France)
- Professor Carole Perry (Nottingham Trent University, UK)
We are in the final stages of assembling an exciting program of Invited Lectures covering the entire field of silicon chemistry and beyond. As it has become customary, the WACKER Silicone Award 2020 will be presented to the as yet undisclosed recipient during the conference.
Please regularly visit our homepage (http://isos2020.enscm.fr/) to update information on the venue, sponsoring and exhibition opportunities. Registration and abstract submission to open soon (4th November 2019) !
See you in Toulouse next year.
